Explore Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center

In less than 10 minutes with a taxi, you will be at SNFCC. A public area with unlimited access and constructive public participation in a variety of cultural, educational, sporting, environmental, and recreational events and activities. It hosts the National Library of Greece and the National Opera, as well as the Stavros Niarchos Park, which spans 210 acres and is one of Athens’ major green spaces. The SNFCC has established thanks to a unique grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which handed over the project to the Greek government once it was completed.

The SNFCC is structured and administered in such a way that everyone feels welcome. People with disabilities have access to all of its interior and external locations, and specific educational programs are in place to foster collaboration between children with and without impairments. People over the age of 65 who may have limited mobility have also received special attention.
